Clos Domaines & Châteaux
La noblesse des vins suisses

Domaine de Autecour, with its ideal situation in the town of Mont-sur-Rolle, is a wine estate of 6 hectares. Here, the grape varieties Chasselas, Gamay and Plant Robert are king. In the cellar, wines are matured in wooden vessels to enhance the quality and balance of each harvest while carefully preserving its typical characteristics. There are 4 Crus: a Chasselas 1er Grand Cru, a rosé wine from Gamay,a Plant Robert and a red Assemblage.

The Autecour house is a listed historic monument that overlooks La Côte from the town of Mont-sur-Rolle. It has a unique architecture, reflecting its past: the house shows typical characteristics from Vaud and Savoy regions and is protected by a Bernese roof. This monument was erected in the town centre of Mont-sur-Rolle in 1663 by a Bernese nobleman from the Wurstemberg family, whose coat of arms is carved on one of the house’s chimneys. He probably built it to oversee his wine estate. In the 19th century, the Autecour house was bought by the Rolaz du Rosay family and then, in 1861, by the Senarclens family. Arnold Schenk acquired Domaine de Autecour in 1938. Today, Michaël Monnier is the head winemaker of this 6-hectare wine estate.
