The most beautiful/ best stories always begin with “Once upon a time”. Henri Badoux’s House has written that very (first) sentence more than a 100 years ago: Once upon a time a little vineyard from Aigle of Murailles, Chablais, would one day become the source of excellence and passion. It was in 1908, that Henri Badoux founded the house Of Henri Badoux at Aigle. Since then, his creator and his successors have continuously increased the company’s wine heritage and revealed all the riches that the Vaudois vineyard has to offer. Over the decades, the men from Henri Badoux’s house have tamed the land and managed to overcome the hectic weather climate, to bring out with tenacity and a “savoir-faire”/know how attitude the very best out of their precious grape varieties. Thanks to this pioneering spirit, accompanied by passion and conviction the emblematic wines such as maque culte Aigle of Murailles, now available in white, red, rosé, brut and rosé brut were born. Members of the association Clos, Domaine & Château, Le Domaine de Grange Volet are following the same development as Henri Badoux’s wine.
