Domaine du Coteau is located in the city of Mont-sur-Rolle in the Vaud region, with an ideal situation facing the lake. This 5.2-hectare vineyard has been owned by the Dufour since the beginning of the last century. Today, the fourth generation manages the place. Chasselas is the main cultivated grape variety and blossoms in the limestone soil of this terroir. Pinot noir and Gamay, planted on a plot with south-south-west exposure, benefit from the late afternoon sun to develop their typical characteristics. Two black grape varieties were recently further added: Gamaret and Garanoir. A red blend of Syrah, Humagne and Garanoir delight wine connoisseurs. Vines are relatively highly trained using the Guyot method and the estate is committed to sustainable viticulture.
